🤝 Local partnerships are the lifeline of comprehensive care support. They create a network of resources that can address the multifaceted needs of individuals requiring care. 🏥 From my experience, when social care providers, local businesses, and community organizations collaborate, the quality and accessibility of care soar. This synergy ensures that care is not just a service but a community mission. 🌱 Take, for instance, a local clinic partnering with a food bank. Together, they can tackle not just medical issues but also nutritional deficiencies that may hinder a patient's recovery. This holistic approach is vital for comprehensive care. 👥 Encouraging comments and thoughts on this can spark a conversation on how we can strengthen our local care networks. What partnerships have you seen or been a part of that have made a difference in your community? #HealthcarePartnerships #CommunityCare #LocalSupport

This year, more than ever, with the new The Labour Party government and Department of Health and Social Care seemingly focused on priorities other than social care, it is imperative that adult social care finds a voice. Today Hft and Care England launch our annual Sector Pulse Check, giving an opportunity for that voice of social care to be heard by policy makers and those within government. I’m urging all those within and outside of my network that are care and support providers, to take a short period of time out of your busy day and to complete this survey. Each return gives a stronger and stronger case for the challenges we all face and the pressures we are subjected to, hopefully enacting the government to take social care seriously. Could I also ask for you to share with your network and make sure that this goes to as many social care organisations as we can reach. All providers are welcome, be it learning disability, mental health, older people, specialist or any variation of such. For profit, not-for-profit, charitable, CIC; it does not matter and the ability to all have our say is more important.
📢 Calling all #SocialCare providers! ✅ Our annual #SectorPulseCheck survey with Care England is now live and we need your help to understand the financial health of the sector and the challenges it's facing. 👉 Have your say here! https://loom.ly/Lp0bX-o #SocialCare #AdultSocialCare #SupportWork #LearningDisability #NewGovernment #SocialCareSurvey

As a Ugandan and a health enthusiast, I am deeply concerned about the number of preventable deaths happening not only in my country but worldwide due to the lack of funds for medical treatment. My heart bleeds seeing lives lost needlessly. I believe there is a way we can combat this. Nobody should have to die from a treatable disease because of financial constraints. By harnessing the power of research and data, we can drive innovation and make informed decisions to address these inequalities. Together, let's work towards a future where everyone has access to the medical care they need, regardless of their financial situation.
