In an era of generative AI, the provenance of words, images and videos will be critical. This is an important innovation to be following as your personal and business reputation is everything.

I had the pleasure of attending the event, and after so many years working on that side, it still managed to surprise me. Unique Insights were shared based on local studies regarding the impact of AI and E-commerce in Portugal. There are a few learnings I took from it:
- There are more opportunities than threats associated to AI and this includes the job Market. AI will have a significant impact on Portuguese economy, but the extent of it depends on how companies leverage this technology.
- Portugal's e-commerce share is still lagging behind Europe, and despite our fairly old population, the blame lays more on companies than on consumers. In fact. The majority of purchases are from foreign brands that are investing more in our country than local companies.
- Peak Season promotional days don't just bring more immediate sales, they serve to recruit new customers, and after every season, sales grow vs previous year.
So, my message for Portuguese Marketeers is the following: "Excuses do not bring results", so change the mindset, and this year, focus on beating international competition instead of just the local. Numbers prove that you won't regret it!

Hey LinkedIn family,
I've been feeling a bit nostalgic lately, thinking back to where this incredible journey with The Goodfor Company started. It's hard to believe that just five years ago, I could never have imagined being invited to share my thoughts on podcasts and panels, let alone being considered a thought leader in my space.
The twists and turns of the last year have been something else—so unpredictable, even AI couldn't have seen it coming (now, that's saying something, right?). It's been a time of shedding old beliefs about myself and my business, taking a step back, re-evaluating everything around me. Entrepreneurship, as many of you know, is like chasing a constantly moving target that has a not-so-mild case of ADHD. It's wild, it's challenging, and yet, it's so much fun!
Anyway, last week I had the privilege of speaking at the DTC Yacht Dinner event, marking the first speaking opportunity since this "rebirth" of mine. It was invigorating, to say the least.
The event was small and intimate, but it served as a powerful reminder of what I love most—connecting with incredible humans who openly share the good, the bad, and the ugly. It came at the perfect time, exactly when I needed it most.
If you've read this far, thank you. The entrepreneurial road can get lonely sometimes, but it's these little reminders from the universe that show up when you're paying attention that make it all worthwhile. Grateful for the support and alignment with our mission.
Here's to embracing the journey, learning from every twist, and finding joy in the chase.
