What makes AI possible are data centers and data centers run on chips, and the market leader for these chips is Nvidia. To understand the "how" before you get to the cool tech, look for the AI chips & their product roadmaps. Very useful and insightful article below. Few call-outs: Nvidia GPU Product Roadmap - Hopper, current - Blackwell, anticipated 'Q4 '24 - Rubin, expected in early '26 - Rubin Ultra, expected in '27 The code names are also interesting as they are "....named after Vera Florence Cooper Rubin, a pioneering astronomer who established the presence of dark matter." Looking for a great summary product roadmap? Check out slide 11 of the embedded presentation. #ai #Nvidia #datacenters #2024trends

Ceo 👨💼 of nvidia thoughts 💭 on #quantumComputing Keep in mind 15 to 30 years might be mass adoption versus nation state actors, decrypting your non quantum proof data. Perhaps it's hyperbole from nvidia CEO wishes ai / agi Competitive technology gravy train 🚂 to keep on going. 'Quantum computing stocks #IonQ (IONQ), #RigettiComputing (#RGTI), #DWaveQuantum (#QBTS) and #QuantumComputing (#QUBT) plunged Wednesday after #Nvidia (NVDA) CEO Jensen Huang said that the technology won't be "very useful" for 15-30 years.' https://lnkd.in/gbgfdWKQ Robert M. Seems like the pace at which computing power grows is accelerating. Intel Corporation and Moore's Law is starting to look slow when you compare it to the pace at which NVIDIA is rolling out new chip generations with increased capacity. Adding in the advances that Microsoft, Cisco, and Red Hat are making in the areas of #AI, #edgecloud, and distributed #networking, it's going to be really interesting to see where we'll be by 2029. If you are looking for IP Addressing, DNS, Network Source of Truth, or infra onboarding solutions for these new architectures, FusionLayer Inc. can help!

title:Intel won’t bring its Falcon Shores AI chip to market Intel has decided to discontinue Falcon Shores, its upcoming GPU designed for high-performance computing and AI. This decision follows a series of unsatisfactory product launches and significant losses, as competitors such as AMD and Nvidia continue to advance. Intel co-CEO Michelle Johnston Holthaus addressed this shift during the company's fourth-quarter earnings call. link:

Technology always finds a way to prove its critics wrong and this statement on quantum is going to be the same for Nvidia. "And so if you kind of said 15 years for very useful quantum computers, that'd probably be on the early side. If you said 30, is probably on the late side. But if you picked 20, I think a whole bunch of us would believe it." Nvidia CEO Jensen Huang, 2025. Some of the examples from the recent past which have backfired for leaders include: Google’s not a real company. It’s a house of cards, Microsoft CEO Steve Ballmer. Using Android like 'peeing in your pants for warmth in winter, Anssi Vanjoki, Nokia 2010 Neither RedBox nor Netflix are even on the radar screen in terms of competition - Blockbuster CEO Jim Keyes, 2008 Screw the Nano. What the hell does the Nano do? Who listens to 1,000 songs? Motorola CEO Ed Zander, 2006 Is this statement from Nvidia, self serving? What do you think?
