Murchison Minerals Ltd (TSX-V:MUR, OTCQB:MURMF) has kicked off its latest exploration program at the BMK Volcanogenic Massive Sulphide (VMS) project in Saskatchewan. The program, covering the 100%-owned project, involves diamond drilling totaling approximately 3,500 meters and is slated for completion by mid-March. Murchison’s primary aim is to discover the copper-rich stockwork zone associated with the formation of the BMK VMS Deposit, according to a statement. The deposit, with a 2018 NI 43-101 resource estimate, remains open along strike and at depth. The 2024 winter drilling program will concentrate on three target areas: CST, BMK North, and BMK South Extensions. #Murchison believes that each area presents high-priority zones for potential discoveries, with a particular focus on the CST target, identified as a large geophysical anomaly. 🔊REEF 1 EXPLORATION TARGET The initial Reef 1 Exploration Target is estimated to be between approximately 60 to 110Mt at a grade between 0.21 to 0.31% Cu, 0.43 to 0.65g/t PGE3, 0.50 to 0.75% V2O5, and 13.9 to 20.8% TiO2, for an estimated contained metal content of between 130 to 340Kt Cu, 860 to 2,300Koz PGE3, 310 to 840Kt V2O5, and 8.6 to 23Mt TiO2. 🟦Cautionary Statement: The potential quantity and grade of the initial Exploration Target is conceptual in nature. There has been insufficient exploration to estimate a Mineral Resource. It is uncertain if further exploration will result in the estimation of a Mineral Resource. HeLIX Exploration PLC has completed road and drill pad construction at its Rudyard helium project in northern Montana, moving closer to appraisal drilling at the site. The Treasure State Drilling Cardwell KB-150 rig is now in place, with work on the Darwin #1 well expected to start this week. The plan is to evaluate an estimated 484,193 Mcf of helium, valued at over $250 million based on current market prices. Assay results from recent RC drilling by Galileo Miningat its #Norseman project in WA continue to show prospective zones of #palladium #platinum close to the existing #Callisto resource.  Galileo undertook around 2,100 metres of RC drilling in August/September, targeting a series of geophysical and geochemical anomalies.  The drilling intersected disseminated sulphide minerals coincident with EM conductors, IP geophysical chargeable zones and at geochemical targets. Encounter Resources Limited Strikes High-Grade Niobium in Western Australia (ASX: ENR) Will Robinson, Managing Director of Encounter Resources, commented on the findings: “Aircore drilling is opening up new fronts of shallow niobium-REE carbonatite hosted mineralisation at Aileron. The aircore rig completed over 10,000m of drilling in its first month on site. This drilling has expanded the near surface footprint of the Crean, Hurley and Emily carbonatites. The aircore rig has now moved to the untested Green and Joyce targets located east of WA1 Resources’ Luni carbonatite discovery. Drilling will start with broad spaced aircore traverses and then move to closer spaced drilling based on initial observations.
