One of my best friend went to a cafe one day and was shocked! There are notes from customers hanging across one of the walls. The wall is named Customer Feedback. While there are good messages about the cafe, there is still room for improvement or criticism. And when the criticisms are taken into account and corrected, the note is written “corrected and thank you”. The cafe is designed day by day keeping in mind exactly what kind of service the customer wants, making the customer feel honored and delighted. The cafe has become better known day by day and has been able to build loyal customers. Good product/service and good usage play an immense role in customer retention. So you need to know how to handle both positive and negative customer feedback to provide excellent service and keep customers satisfied. Their satisfaction can bring you continuous sales. As the corporate world celebrates the yearly Customer Service Week: The best thing you can do for your business is reminding yourself that every one that encounters your business should have a wonderful experience that will make them remember you for a long time. I wrote about a tailor shop I visited and was welcomed with a cup of coffee, they’re stuck in my head, even though they are expensive. their excellent service, manners and warmth won my heart and opened my pocket. I read people fight with customers and give rude responses due to frustration and even when I try to understand, I still can’t. When you understand that your business cannot survive without your customers, then your approach need to be customer-centered. I love business people that ask their customers “how can I best serve you” and then go ahead to listen. They are likely to make more money than the one who is too eager to sell. And yes, you can’t tell customers to f*** off, never say rude words to people buying from you, treat them well and politely decline the sales if it is necessary.
