In 2021, I was introduced to the word NFTs, which soon became a part of my everyday life! 🌐Today we celebrate THE WORLD NFT DAY! I’ve been working in the design space for over 4 years now, and every time I produced a JPEG or a moving picture 🎞️, I used to wonder if these would ever be considered a work of fine art 🖌️. The strong commercial value they held at the time didn’t fit the fine art narrative of entering prestigious galleries or events. But NFTs changed the way we see and experience art! 🎨 With NFTs taking the lead as a major narrative and an emerging market in the world 🌍, it facilitated the growing influence of digital art and different techniques like pixel art, 3D, generative AI, and code 💻 Digital art is now truly recognized in the world, thanks to NFTs and web3 which played a huge role. We now have dedicated spaces, events, conversations, and collectors of the JPEGs and moving pictures we produce as creators 👩🎨👨🎨, and there’s only one way from here—the top of the mountain. With that, we are all excited to exhibit the works of NFT artists from around the globe today at the Innovation Hub SLC!
