During my tenure as the Mentorship Program Lead at ICAP for 7 months, I've gained valuable insights into the multifaceted nature of mentorship. One crucial aspect I've encountered involves the meticulous scrutiny of mentors' profiles. It's imperative that mentors exhibit a clean record, devoid of any involvement in illegal activities. After all, how can a mentor effectively guide a mentee if they are associated with anti-social behavior? The fairness of mentors directly influence their ability to serve as role models and facilitate career progression for mentees.
