So excited to share this video to wrap up EMS week. As I spoke with John Moon at an event last week his message of care for the community by the community and bringing care to people where they are really stuck me as a wonderful public health message not only for how we care for the health of the community we serve but also how we as a community care for our own health. We have lost too many EMS clinicians to violence, injury, cardiac and mental health struggles. It is time as a community we do better caring for our community of EMS clinicians and potentially take some important lessons from the pioneers at Freedom House Ambulance Service.
