Last week I had the opportunity to speak at the West Virginia Academy Of Eye Physicians & Surgeons conference about the benefits of interventional glaucoma treatment using the OMNI surgical device. We discussed the clinical evidence, including the 36-month data from the GEMINI trial, that shows combined canaloplasty and goniotomy with the OMNI device both improves IOP control and decreases medication burden. As always, I had a really great time meeting new people and sharing surgical techniques and treatment strategies to improve the way we manage glaucoma.
