Romans 12:2 (KJV) And be not conformed to this world: but be ye transformed by the renewing of your mind, that ye may prove what is that good, and acceptable, and perfect, will of God. Earlier, we discussed that what you feed your mind with becomes a mindset. A mindset is impossible to change without changing what your mind is filled with. When we learn about the importance and need to renew the mind, we get busy trying to change our mindsets. However, this is not a simple thing to do.The only way to change your default and automatic thinking is by filling your conscious mind with new information. In our case, as believers, the word of God is what we must consciously feed the mind with. So when we are told to renew the mind, it means we must decide to feed the mind with new and better information, which would eventually change the course we are taking. An ambassador is able to live that new honourable life based on information that he feeds the mind with. So they are trained before taking up their new roles. This is why, as believers, we must continually be fed the word. We may have successfully renewed the mind but since it is a battlefield, there would be the need to keep renewing it. To be continued. May we pay attention to what we feed the mind with. Have a blessed Sunday. *Prayer:* Lord, please help me to keep your word daily as I decide to renew my mind. 15/10/2023

Retired Angry Man, Part Two, The Return. I went to GRAMMAR school. Please refrain from these phrases: Reduce down = reduce (you can't reduce UP) Raise up (similar reason as above) Going forward (Jack Brownhill, The God, was correct on that one) Evacuate out Extend out Restore back Dominate over Big of a problem = a big problem Upped Circle around Reignite again Continue on Originate from Return back = return Reflect back on = reflect on Bare with (duh) On tenderhooks (duh) Reigning in (duh) Deflate down Lean into Reunited back with End result Explode out Focus in on For sure (in America, frr shrr as in mirror = mrrr) Combine together Back in the day (in the past) First up = Firstly or First (opposite for last up) Signing off on = signing off Hotting up = heating up Tasked with = ordered to ("entrusted with" is much better) plus please say: Vulnerable not vunnerable Recognise not reconnise Mischievous not mischievious (where the hell did that last "i" come from) plus "yeah no". What's that about? is it yes or no?

To those who work with, teach, or parent children: Aiming at who the child will become is of far greater importance than our efforts to put in place structures and programs, teach content and skills, or plan out trajectories and the pragmatic steps we deem necessary to get there. Keeping the main thing the main thing means that we have to think about spiritual formation or faith formation as primary and recognize that the life-long, lasting change that we're seeking means that we're going to have to aim at our their loves. And, the best way to shape their loves is for them to see our loves in us. This then, allows the lessons we teach to truly stick with them. 25 minute listen.
