A huge shoutout to the incredible female founding teams at this year's Grace - Accelerate Female Entrepreneurship Demo Day! Every team from the cohort presented such impressive businesses, I'm really excited to see their impact within climate tech, B2B SaaS, education and Femtech industries. It’s no surprise the quality was so high, not only because of Grace's leadership in this space, but data on female-led businesses speaks for itself. Although women typically make more conservative projections, women-led startups outperform male-led businesses, generating 10% more in cumulative revenue over five years: €664,300 compared to €602,420. "Some people don’t need to be removed; they just need to be repositioned"-𝗝𝗼𝗻𝗮𝘁𝗵𝗮𝗻 𝗥. 𝗠𝗶𝗹𝗹𝗲𝗿, aka Pastor YPJ. 𝗜 𝗱𝗼𝗻’𝘁 𝗺𝗮𝗸𝗲 𝗿𝗲𝘀𝗼𝗹𝘂𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻𝘀-I set goals. 𝗔𝗻𝗱 𝗜 𝗰𝗿𝗲𝗮𝘁𝗲 𝘀𝘁𝗿𝗮𝘁𝗲𝗴𝗶𝗲𝘀-not just for myself but for my clients too. Yesterday, during a "Clarity Session" with a prospective client, we uncovered something powerful: 𝘁𝗵𝗮𝘁 𝘀𝗼𝗺𝗲𝘁𝗶𝗺𝗲𝘀, 𝘄𝗲’𝗿𝗲 𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝘀𝗼𝘂𝗿𝗰𝗲 𝗼𝗳 𝗼𝘂𝗿 𝗼𝘄𝗻 𝗵𝗲𝗮𝗿𝘁𝗯𝗿𝗲𝗮𝗸-𝗻𝗼𝘁 𝗼𝘁𝗵𝗲𝗿𝘀. 💡 𝗥𝗲𝗮𝗱 𝘁𝗵𝗮𝘁 𝗮𝗴𝗮𝗶𝗻, 𝘀𝗹𝗼𝘄𝗹𝘆. 𝗟𝗲𝘁 𝗶𝘁 𝘀𝗶𝗻𝗸 𝗶𝗻. Because here’s the thing: we often expect to see “us” in others and then feel crushed when we don’t. In the lead up to 2025, I noticed so many women-including female founders and women-owned startups-vowing to “cut people off” in this season. 𝗕𝘂𝘁 𝘄𝗵𝗮𝘁 𝗶𝗳 𝗶𝗻𝘀𝘁𝗲𝗮𝗱 𝗼𝗳 𝗰𝘂𝘁𝘁𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝘁𝗶𝗲𝘀, 𝘄𝗲 "𝗮𝘂𝗱𝗶𝘁𝗲𝗱" 𝘁𝗵𝗲𝗺? 𝗪𝗲 𝗮𝗹𝗿𝗲𝗮𝗱𝘆 𝗮𝘂𝗱𝗶𝘁 𝗼𝘂𝗿: 👑Social media feeds. 👑Websites. 👑Products and services. 👑Even our customers and clients (or at least we should). 𝗦𝗼 𝘄𝗵𝘆 𝗻𝗼𝘁 𝗱𝗼 𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝘀𝗮𝗺𝗲 𝗳𝗼𝗿 𝗼𝘂𝗿 𝗿𝗲𝗹𝗮𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻𝘀𝗵𝗶𝗽𝘀 𝗮𝗻𝗱 𝗶𝗻𝘁𝗲𝗿𝗮𝗰𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻𝘀? Growth isn’t about avoiding hard conversations; it’s about leaning into them-especially the ones with yourself.
