We've launched our work in Montgomery County, Maryland and got to host at-large Councilmember Evan Glass to see our work in action!
Healthcare is a human right. But oftentimes people without insurance don’t know how to access high quality care. Thankfully we have organizations like Fabric Health, which is helping connect people with healthcare – at the laundromat. I recently spent a morning with Fabric Health at Rainbow Laundry in Long Branch, where they provided information and registered residents for Medicaid coverage. It’s a wonderful program that is built on engagement, trust and wellness. 32 million Americans spend two hours a week at the laundromat. If we want to ensure that everyone has the information and access to healthcare, we need to meet them where they are at.
