Taylor Zink challenged me and I accepted, so let's talk about it. (Slight spoiler warning if you haven't seen Season 2, Episode 7 of "The Bear"). This standalone episode surprised me in the best way possible. It dives deep into the character of Richie, who usually comes across as aloof. But "Forks" throws him into a new, high-pressure environment at a Michelin-starred restaurant, and we witness a surprising transformation. ⭐ Character Growth and Kitchen Chaos: Richie's initial apathy melts away as he navigates the pressure of fine dining. The scene with Jessica, the expediter, perfectly captures the intensity of juggling tickets and managing the workflow. Every. Second. Counts. But the episode doesn't stop there. There's the iconic Taylor Swift moment... unexpected but perfect. It adds a layer of vulnerability that really resonates. This episode is also a masterclass in character development, reminding us that "The Bear" isn't just about the kitchen chaos - it's about the people and their journeys. Loved it! ⭐ Customer Service with Heart The episode also subtly highlights an approach to customer service that goes above and beyond the menu. Remember the scene where a server overhears a guest's disappointment about missing out on Chicago's iconic deep dish pizza? Instead of simply letting it pass, the staff springs into action. They go the extra mile, sending Richie out to grab a pizza from Pequod's for them. It's a small gesture, but it speaks volumes about the attentiveness of the staff. This episode reminds us that true customer service isn't just about efficiency or following protocols. It's about anticipating needs, creating a memorable experience, and going that extra step to leave a lasting impression. This episode is packed with other learning opportunities and memorable moments. Highly recommend checking it out, even if you haven't seen the rest of the series! #TheBear #CharacterGrowth #EmotionalImpact #CustomerService

The other night I was watching “The Bear” with my husband. It’s our new favorite show. Have you seen it? Though I generally enjoy every episode, the “Forks” episode (season 2, episode 7) struck me as I watched a particular character learn what it meant to WOW the guests of a high-end restaurant. Hint: It was more than just going the extra mile. 𝐅𝐢𝐫𝐬𝐭, 𝐭𝐡𝐞 𝐜𝐡𝐚𝐫𝐚𝐜𝐭𝐞𝐫 𝐡𝐚𝐝 𝐭𝐨 𝐮𝐧𝐝𝐞𝐫𝐬𝐭𝐚𝐧𝐝 𝐰𝐡𝐲 𝐡𝐚𝐯𝐢𝐧𝐠 𝐚 𝐦𝐢𝐧𝐝-𝐛𝐥𝐨𝐰𝐢𝐧𝐠 𝐞𝐱𝐩𝐞𝐫𝐢𝐞𝐧𝐜𝐞 𝐦𝐚𝐭𝐭𝐞𝐫𝐞𝐝 𝐭𝐨 𝐭𝐡𝐞 𝐠𝐮𝐞𝐬𝐭𝐬.. Some of which had saved an entire year to dine there. 𝐓𝐡𝐞𝐧, 𝐭𝐡𝐞 𝐜𝐡𝐚𝐫𝐚𝐜𝐭𝐞𝐫 𝐡𝐚𝐝 𝐭𝐨 𝐥𝐞𝐚𝐫𝐧 𝐡𝐨𝐰 𝐭𝐨 𝐜𝐫𝐞𝐚𝐭𝐞 𝐭𝐡𝐢𝐬 𝐭𝐲𝐩𝐞 𝐨𝐟 𝐞𝐱𝐩𝐞𝐫𝐢𝐞𝐧𝐜𝐞. What actions might he take? How might he deliver in a way that brought the guests pure joy? What did he need to pay attention to? 𝐍𝐞𝐱𝐭, 𝐭𝐡𝐞 𝐜𝐡𝐚𝐫𝐚𝐜𝐭𝐞𝐫 𝐡𝐚𝐝 𝐭𝐨 𝐭𝐚𝐤𝐞 𝐩𝐞𝐫𝐬𝐨𝐧𝐚𝐥 𝐫𝐞𝐬𝐩𝐨𝐧𝐬𝐢𝐛𝐢𝐥𝐢𝐭𝐲 𝐭𝐨 𝐖𝐎𝐖 𝐭𝐡𝐞 𝐠𝐮𝐞𝐬𝐭𝐬. He had to realize his ability to craft a truly special experience and generously give his all to that one moment. As entertaining as it was to watch the transformation of this character, it had me curious about how I might apply what I was watching to my own business. How might I WOW both my current and prospective clients? The wheels are turning my friends, and it’s all thanks to a little inspiration from a TV show and a meticulously clean fork. What about you? What are some ways you WOW your clients? #MomBusinessOwners #WomenBusinessOwners #MarketingStrategies
