Fatherhood. Challenge yourself to something above and beyond for your family. The more responsibility you take on = the more meaning your life will have. Sage advice but you can over do it. And you will fail constantly. This may be perspective and subjective but wow from a first person perspective it has so much truth. Balance = Showing up with the right mentality. Does this mean take on everything? Nope. It means show up as your best self for the places where it matters like for your children and partner and your work family. That’s right work family. You don’t go to work with strangers as we become brothers and sisters with the people we spend time with to attempt to solve some of the worlds problems. My perspective : Being a Father Being a father provides more meaning than anything else I will ever take on! Nothing comes close. Business is great but when you show up for your children and partner it means more than anything else you can do in life. Becoming a man means realizing “others” mean more than your self. Your family is the closest extension of yourself, And humbling yourself to “know” this and living it. Walking with hands open not closed, learning from the world not forcing your ideas and self into it. #responsibility #meaning #challengeyourself If we are lucky enough to live long enough we get the opportunity to see our children make the transition to grown humans and succeed in life or fail then get back up, dust themselves off and continue on with love.
