DEN is back looking for your submissions to our seventh International Student Conference at the University of Westminster. Looking at how we can collectively build and shape a better today, requires us to reflect on the past and the actions taken to tackle the global challenges present. We are open to students from universities, colleges, and schools to participate. My mind is buzzing after hearing Professor Therese N. Hopfenbeck present as part of the University of Melbourne Dean's lecture series. I appreciated her insights on PISA as she addressed 'The Use and Abuse of Large-Scale Assessment Studies: Do they still matter?' My key take away is that this testing should prompt robust duscussion about the purpose of education.
