Are We UX Designers or Product Designers? Does it Matter? The industry loves to throw around titles: UX Designer, Product Designer, Interaction Designer—the list goes on. But at the core, aren’t we all just problem solvers? Whether you’re deep into user research or designing sleek interfaces, the goal remains the same: create user-centred solutions that actually work. Titles might define your focus, but they don’t define your impact. In the end, it’s not about what we call ourselves—it’s about the problems we solve. 👉 What’s your title, and does it reflect everything you do?

My first case study Starting a new journey can be both confusing and intimidating, especially when it involves tackling something you have not tried before and starting my first case study as a Junior UX designer is not an exception. Most UX designers have to participate in endless arguments every day just to prove UX design is worth the time and budget. We should put an end to this. If a company thinks UX design is not a necessity, why bother hiring a UX designer just to do everything the opposite of the UXer's suggestion? I know that articulating decisions and receiving feedback is an important part of the job. But if a UX designer becomes an order taker of the stakeholders just because they don't trust the expertise of the UX designers and they don't see the value of good design, business is the first thing that takes the hit. Trust the value of UX design. Good design matters. Stop putting extra pressure on UX designers by making them constantly prove themselves. You hired them. Let them do their magic. #ux #uxdesign #userexperience #uxui #userexperiencedesign
