Craft Time to Work ON Your Brewery, Not Just IN Your Craft Brewery
Here’s a toast to the truth we often sidestep - finding the ideal time to work ON our businesses rather than IN them. It’s like waiting for a perfectly aged barrel when you haven’t set any aside. That magical time is not going to pop up between tastings and brew days. It’s something we must intentionally craft, much like our signature brews.
I know it’s challenging to step back and strategize when there’s always another batch to brew, another blend to perfect. Yet, if we want our businesses to thrive - to truly embody our craft and community spirit - it’s crucial to target a minimum of 4 hours weekly to work ON our business. This isn’t just about keeping the taps flowing; it’s about ensuring your business grows, innovates, and sustains yourself, your family, your employees, your communities in meaningful ways.
Let’s pledge to brew a new future for our businesses. Let’s commit to being as intentional with our time as we are with our hops and malt, and yes for all the coffee businesses out there, our beans.
Here’s to putting on our strategy gear, grabbing a pint of your favorite brew, and crafting not just extraordinary beers, but also extraordinary businesses! 🍻
