Shout out to Kimberly, our Crewmember of the Month! A new member shared: "Customer service above and beyond. Kimberly volunteered to assist our interest in credit unions. After reviewing our 30+ year history, we decided FAIRWINDS was by far our best choice. Kimberly processed multiple accounts within an hour. What a pleasure to work with an institution that considers customer service an opportunity rather than a burden." Well done, Kimberly! 🥳

More examples of how Northwoods is helping case workers...
Our Case Aide Services team has been busy! Over the next few weeks, we'll be announcing several new customers who have kicked off work in 2024. Up first is Perry County Children Services, a long-time customer who wanted to give staff more time to hone their craft. Northwoods and Perry County have a deep history and we're excited to continue expanding our partnership!

My comment for today. I am reading a book called Fifteen Cents on the Dollat by Louise Story and Ebony Reed. What continues to be pertinent is the fact that we cannot expect as black people to say we are anti capitalism if we continue to replicate their practices. Right now we are in the midst of seeing groups of Black organizations doing their good and due diligence in helping black farmers and black businesses with capital . As the co founder of Black Farmer Fund I am proud of what we have done so far. However we must not fall into the trap of supporting and funding only the big farms and big businesses and neglecting the smalls farms and businesses. By doing so we are replicating a system we claim we are against. We should NEVER think that success is based on doling out millions of dollars to a small group of people while the majority of people are still struggling. We must check our values, morals, vision and mission to make sure we are truly doing what we set out to do:: Providing black farmers and black businesses with economic support due to the inequity in wealth and discriminatory practices of banks in the past. Let’s make sure that all can benefit regardless of size. My two cents, MamaK

Did you know that black business ownership is growing at the fastest pace in 30 years, and the share of Black households owning a business has more than doubled? Although BIPOC and minority small business owners are gaining ground, there is still work to be done to support them. CDC Small Business Finance, a Momentus Capital branded family of organizations, is here to support underserved businesses and communities. Today, we celebrate Flag Day, a day dedicated to honoring the symbol of our nation's unity and values. 🇺🇸 On June 14, 1777, the Continental Congress adopted the Stars and Stripes as the official flag of the United States. This emblem represents our shared history, our struggles, and our triumphs. As we reflect on what our flag stands for, let's remember the ideals it embodies—freedom, justice, and equality. Whether you're flying the flag at your home, sharing its history with others, or simply taking a moment to appreciate its significance, let's celebrate the spirit of Flag Day together. At Sales Tax DataLINK, we are proud to serve businesses across this great nation, helping them navigate complex tax landscapes with integrity and precision. Just as our flag stands as a beacon of unity and strength, we strive to be a trusted partner for all your sales tax needs. Wishing everyone a meaningful and reflective Flag Day! #FlagDay #UnitedStates #Patriotism #Unity #History #SalesTaxDataLINK
