NO ONE OWES YOU I have been a lady who beliefs in this ideology as a teenager. After my mum dead, I was lonely. I had no one to communicate my feelings , thought or issues with. I have God anyway. 🙌 I had to mind my life and take full responsibility of my life. I ask no one money I feed and live with the small business my mum left behind. Along the line the business crash; no money to reinvest, customers went away on hearing the news of dead etc. Why am I saying this? This mindset I had that no man owes me didn't start today, it begin long time ago So, dear you understand that no man owes YOU. You owe yourself the ability to live your dream and live on purpose If your relative, brothers, sisters, aunt, uncle etc decided to help you, fine and beautiful. If they decide not to help you, take full ownership of your life and live your life with focus, intentionality, and resilient. Cause no one because they refuse to help you Help yourself by yourself by; Developing yourself Investing in yourself Learning skills And don't forget to put God first. Pray and fast when necessary. Commit all your doing in the hands of God and He will definitely surprise and give YOU the help you look for. The help from God surpass every other help When God help you, you don't need to struggle or lament... You are at peace. Don't forget as you look for help, first help yourself by submitting yourself to learning skills that can position you for the future you want and pray along as you do so. I decided years ago that I wouldn't disturb anyone I know to help me. Putting your hopes in the people you know for assistance is like building a castle in the air. Go and work it out on your own. If they decide to help you tomorrow, fine! If they decide not to help you, fine. Let's take another look at our contacts. Do they have the capacity to help you and me? Yes. Have we told them? Yes. How many times have you and I sent out CVs? Why are they not helping us? Well, do you want to know the truth? It's the same thing I told myself 19 years ago when I was looking for money to buy a GCE form in Lagos: NOBODY OWES YOU, Ninnah. NOBODY OWES YOU. You can change any narrative with or without anyone you know. Do you know the people I know? Factor your mindset to expect nothing from anyone neither be entitled to anyone's earnings . With all due respect to each and everyone I know . I consider them as bonuses and lifelines. You may not need a lifeline for the rest of your journey if you know how to handle your storm .
