Day 4 😌 #20DaysinPMWithAA Let's talk about the Three PMs: Product, Project & Program Managers! Oftentimes people mistake the roles of Product Manager, Project Manager and Program Manager. While all three require strong communication, collaboration, and organizational skills, they have distinct responsibilities that contribute to a product or service's success. * Product Manager (PM): Oversees the entire product lifecycle, focusing on the overall product. They define the product strategy, roadmap, and user experience with a long-term vision. * Project Manager (PjM): Leads the execution of specific projects within a product or program. They focus on ensuring that projects are delivered on time, within budget, and according to plan. * Program Manager (PgM): Oversees a group of related projects contributing to a larger program objective. They have a broader perspective, ensuring alignment and achieving strategic program goals. Effective communication and collaboration between PMs, PJMs, and PgMs are essential for a product's success. Another day we would dive deeper into each of their responsibilities and their differences. Have you ever confused these PM roles? Let me know how you were finally able to tell their differences!! #ProductManagement #AfricaAgility #GIT20DayChallenge #GITBootcampChallenge #AfeicanGirlsinTechBootcamp #GITBootcampC7Challenge
