📢 New blog & video series: 10 lessons from 10 years 🚀 I've been running my own business for 10 years now. Before that, I worked for someone else for 15 years; 3 jobs at 3 different companies. 5 years each. Looking back to my childhood, I think it was pretty obvious that I had some entrepreneurial spirit - but neither my parents, or any of my teachers, ever said "you should be an entrepreneur".    It wasn't until I started working for a small business, after I left Uni - that I even had it on my radar as something that I could aspire to. My first bosses - Paul and Duncan - were the people I really looked at and thought "I wonder if I could to that?". I also started hearing stories from my father-in-law, who ran a successful catering business in the 70s - and over time, the idea started to crystallise in my mind: I want to start my own business.    In the next phase of my career I would love to inspire or support others, who feel like they could be an entrepreneur. Maybe you're a young person who needs to understand that working hard, getting good grades and getting a job for someone else - is NOT the only path to choose. Or maybe you've always worked for someone else - but dream of taking the leap and going out on your own. I am not saying I've learnt everything there is to know - far from it - but I have been in this game for 10 years now, and want to pass it forwards.   So I've written a series of 10 blogs, giving 10 lessons from my 10 years as a Founder.
