In 2021 and 2022, one person died by #suicide in the U.S. about every 11 minutes, and for people aged 10–14 and 25–34 years, suicide was the 2nd-leading cause of death. But there is hope: the #988 Suicide & Crisis Lifeline helps thousands of people struggling to overcome suicidal crises or mental health-related distress every day. Today is the inaugural #988Day, dedicated to spreading awareness of the #988Lifeline and emphasizing the importance of #MentalHealth support.
