Providing video editing services | 20+ happy clients. | Experienced in converting raw footage into eye catching content | Building 7 figures SMM Agency | Web developer | AI&ML Engineering.
recently, i saw this post on linkedin in which this person is hiring editor for 35rs per reel. Is the editing market is so saturated with this level of desperate editors that they are ready to work? I don't care whether it's a long project or bulk project or anything. But all i know is no reel or editor deserves to work at this cost. What's your view regarding this? #videoediting #videoeditor

Before hiring an editor to help your business, It's important to know if they're a good fit for the job. One way to do that is to test their skills by sending your raw files and letting the pros show off their work. I've been editing since 2019 and I learned that each client has different preferences, and a good editor knows how to ask before jumping into action. Here's one of the sample edits I made before getting hired. Feel free to reach out and test me with any editing work.

Are you thinking short term or long term when hiring an editor? Before you hire an editor, ask yourself: Are you thinking short term or long term? Is everything in alignment with your brand? When it comes to video editing, building a relationship with your editor is crucial. They should understand your vision and direction, not just edit and send videos back. At Bells Media, we first ask our clients about their vision, why they're doing this, and where they want to go. This helps us create an editing style and content that aligns with their goals and supports their journey. #VideoEditing #ContentCreation #BrandAlignment #VisionaryEditing #BellsMedia #ContentStrategy #LongTermGoals #BusinessGrowth #CreativeTeam #ClientSuccess

I Hired Over 1000 Interns In 5 Years To Help Me Run My 5 Figure/m Business with 99% Margins | Let me help you with it?
Dealing with hiring challenges post-COVID has been tough. More people are missing work, especially after the second COVID wave. The problem keeps getting worse every day, and it's even harder to hire those with less education. If you are hiring Gig workers you will face this a lot, and even though we have some good solutions, it's tricky because, well, we're dealing with humans. What do you think works best to handle these issues? #hiring #recruiters #hr #hiringalert
Founder at The Growth Square | Helping personal brands build a cash-flowing audience | Founder led LinkedIn Marketing | LinkedIn B2B Marketing
A few days back I announced a challenge, where whoever would win would get ₹20,000. What happened next will give you the reality check that you need. So a total of 500 people filled up the form. Out of that we selected around 300 people and told them to do an assignment. Out of that, guess how many people did it in the said deadline? (48 hours) 25. Rest were either late or didn’t do it. My problem with this is that I’ve read so many LinkedIn posts of people complaining that there aren’t many opportunities and that people don’t pay enough money etc etc But we did both. In fact we are even willing to hire 4-5 more content writers. The problem with this generation is that we’re all very lazy. And somehow we’ve convinced ourselves that being lazy is okay. Put in the work. All the success stories that you read online? They all put in the work. If you’re talented, there’s no way you won’t do well in life (unless of course if you don’t put it in the work) Any other founder relate to this? Is this a problem that only I’m seeing? #hiring #hiringalert

Storyteller | Award-Winning Senior Video Editor & Producer | Currently Podcast Video & Audio Editor @ The Asprey Group | Formerly @ The Liquid Light / Ads of Fire / The Creative District / Cultivator Labs
Finding good people is hard. And when you don’t have a production background, finding a great video editor can be even harder. As a business owner, of course you’d want to find the ever-illusive ‘fast, great & cheap’ editor (which I’d argue never existed). But here’s 3 realistic attributes that you should be looking for in any editor whether they’re a passionate rookie or a seasoned pro: Communicative: I’d trade all of the talent in the world for someone who answers their phone, keeps me in the loop and expresses their thoughts, ideas, needs or concerns. They’re your eyes on the ground so their feedback is crucial. Eager to Learn: Editing software is ever-changing. And with all of the AI tools that have emerged in recent years, you need someone who stays current in order to compete. Being coachable also falls into this category. Organized: This is the sleeper of the 3 and the hardest to measure for sure but without it, things can go terribly wrong. If you’re asking them to submit a sample project (something I’m sure to argue against in another post) ask them to also submit a screenshot of their file structure. You might not learn that they’re organized, but you’ll DEFINITELY learn if they aren’t. Look, speed is great. But it’s unsustainable. Consistency is the key. And making sure that your new editor has these three traits can help you build a consistent and productive workflow for your business. What am I missing? What traits do you think are most important when hiring a video editor? #videoediting #videoeditor #productionjobs #hiring #talent
