I'd like to share my latest research paper, co-authored with our incredible team, has been published in the Physics of Fluids journal. This work focuses on the design and optimization of micromixers, which are essential components in microfluidics, micro-electro-mechanical devices, and various bio-chemical assays. Our study introduces a controllable intelligent framework that combines machine learning and statistical modeling approaches to enhance the efficiency and homogeneity of mixtures in micromixers. Our research addresses the challenges of designing micromixers that provide high homogeneity and low pressure drop while maintaining controllability. We've made significant strides in this area, including the development of a novel micro-structure with L-shaped baffles and the application of advanced optimization methods like NSGA-II and DE. This work not only advances our understanding of micromixer design but also has practical implications for gene engineering, nanoparticle synthesis, and cell lysis assays. We've observed that our proposed design can significantly increase the mixing index and reduce the pressure drop, demonstrating the potential of our approach in real-world applications. I invite you to read our paper and share your thoughts on our findings. Your insights and feedback are invaluable to us. 🔗 https://lnkd.in/drBvku8P #Research #Microfluidics #Micromixers #PhysicsOfFluids #MachineLearning #Optimization
