Wondering where the joy in your life went? You are not alone. I am here to help you find it. Life these days can be very demanding. Daily routine can easily get us stressed and distracted. It could leave us empty and disconnected without any time for joy. A good way to bring back joy to our life is the practice of gratitude. Being grateful brings our awareness to the positive things in our life, it offers perspective. Gratitude offers us a broader context, and opens space for joy and fulfillment. It allows us to smile genuinely, enjoy a deep laughter or a quiet moment in nature. Take some time, preferably in the morning, start your day acknowledging the good in your life. It can be as basic as being grateful for having a roof over your head, having access to clean water or simply for the clean air that you are breathing. The practice of gratitude opens our hearts, allowing us to feel more connected to our emotions. It expands our capacity to recognize the beauty and abundance in our life. What are you grateful for today?

Day 13: Grateful for My Purpose and Passion – Fuel for the Soul Purpose isn't just a destination; it's the fire that lights your path. And passion? That’s the spark that keeps it burning bright. Today, I reflect on how grateful I am for the things that inspire me—like writing stories that touch hearts, lending a helping hand to someone in need, and crafting unforgettable memories with my family. These moments of purpose and passion fuel my spirit and give me the strength to show up even when life feels overwhelming. Every word I write is a reminder of the power within me to create change, just as every shared laugh with family adds a brushstroke to the masterpiece that is my life. Purpose gives me direction, while passion gives me the courage to walk the path, no matter how steep or winding it may be. Gratitude shifts everything. When I align my heart with what inspires me—whether it’s supporting others, capturing joy in a moment, or simply being present with those I love—the weight of the world feels lighter. Purpose grounds me; passion lifts me. Together, they make life not just bearable but meaningful. If you’re reading this and wondering how to find your own purpose or reignite your passion, start by asking yourself: What lights you up inside? Pay attention to the moments when you feel alive—those are breadcrumbs guiding you to your unique purpose. Trust that following them will lead to the life you are meant to live. If this resonated with you, join me on this gratitude journey by clapping and following. Let’s inspire each other to live with purpose and passion every day! This is a wonderful day. I have never seen this one before.” - Maya Angelou Gratitude isn't the same as happiness—it is deeper. Most of us feel happy when something nice occurs...we get flowers or we spend an afternoon at a coffee shop. But those moments can be short lived. What happens when they’re over? Because it isn't based on an event, gratitude is long lasting and can adapt to change and/or hard times. It requires active emotional focus....you can’t be passively grateful, especially in the begining. You have to be intentional. In doing so, it creates a solid foundation that can be sustained in difficult times as well as good ones. I like to think of it like running. You need to train and focus. You need to get in shape. Once you create a habit of sustaining that cardiovascular state, it becomes easier and easier. It takes practice and work, but goodness me...when you get in "gratitude shape" and it is fluid. Your life will change. Grateful for today! Grateful for the now. Grateful...grateful... grateful! It is in your grasp. It is in your control.
