Yesterday, our marketing team enjoyed an unforgettable experience at Drift Limits - The London Motor Circuit, during an action-packed partner event hosted by The British Motor Show. The day was packed with thrilling experiences, from driving supercars to learning the art of drifting on the track. For our team, it was an exhilarating opportunity to get behind the wheel of these powerful machines - vehicles we usually see performing stunts in the action-packed stunt show at #BMS! Beyond the high-octane fun, the day provided a fantastic chance to connect with fellow partners and showcase the incredible features planned for this year’s Show. Witnessing the new branding work come to life and being part of the preparations for such a landmark event left us feeling inspired for the next edition. Thank you to Andy Entwistle and the entire team for organising such a fun, insightful, and productive event. A special thank you also goes out to Drift Limits for being exceptional hosts and ensuring the day was not only exciting but also seamless and enjoyable for everyone involved. Here’s to more collaborations, partnerships, and unforgettable moments—roll on The British Motor Show 2025! #BMS2025 #Automotive #Events #Cars #MotorSport #DriftLimits

It's been 12 months since I drove up to NSW's Central Coast and sat down with a mate of mine, Douglas Seaton. We've known each other for around 20 years, having met through work and connected over our interests in rallying and modified cars. As an aside: I'm a bit of a skeptic when it comes to outsourcing work on my own cars and projects, but Doug has always been on a short list of people I trust in this regard. He takes the care to do things right, rather than quick—something I value more than I can possibly explain. Anyway, back on track... We found ourselves in a conversation that day which resulted in a plan for a new business. A business we would create together, taking advantage of our collective 50 years of experience in the industry and our shared passion for Australian manufacturing and product engineering. Although it took a few weeks, Griptech Industries Pty Ltd was born. We secured a new location in Western Sydney, closer to me in NSW's Blue Mountains, with a vision for the brand and a focus on what we wanted to create! Notable shout-out to our equally long-term friend Stig at this point, whose valuable insight, assistance, and input throughout 2025 made the whole thing possible! A year on from that conversation, Griptech Industries has regular customers, improved processes, and a more robust supply chain—including trusted partners we can rely on—allowing us to scale up manufacturing and output. We've added around 20 vehicle-specific products to the catalogue as well, which now sits at around 550 applications, thanks to the groundwork Doug and our blacksmithing sway bar ninja, Nikon, put in over 10 years at the previous business, Seaton Suspension. Griptech now benefits from having acquired the tooling, patterns, and IP from that business. I only had spare time to work on Griptech in 2024, a compromise I felt was in the interest of the business, ensuring it wasn't burdened by me as an overhead. While this will continue for the coming year, I’ve managed to create some more dedicated time for it—spreading my time across a couple of exciting projects with friends while keeping an extra day or two free to help make sway bars great again! This has turned into a much longer post than I imagined when I sat down—clearly, I got carried away (sorry to those still with me)—but I am very happy to report that we took our new brand, Griptech Industries, out in public for a test run at Summernats 37, Australia's largest car festival. The response was overwhelmingly positive. We had a great time; the public and our friends seemed to "get it," and we've already seen some of those conversations turn into sales. Excited to see what 2025 holds—bring it on! 😍 Any Turn. Any Terrain. #Getit with #Griptech #Swaybars #antirollbars
Griptech Industries stepped out with thier new brand at Summernats 37, Australia's largest car festival, a 4 day event held in Canberra every year. The Griptech team were in good company in the Rare Spares Paviliion amongst a long list of other Australian Manufacturers where 130,000 plus car enthusiasts crowd meandered by to see the latest and greatest in Automotive parts and solutions!

Super day at FullyCharged.SHOW & Everything Electric South yesterday. So much to do and so many people to see! One particular highpoint was getting behind the wheel of the MG Motor UK Ltd Cyberster. With about 500 bhp, dual-motor all-wheel drive and scissor doors it didn't lack for drama and I was stopped at more than one set of lights to be asked what it was / whether I was having fun. This car really put me in mind of Mazda Motor Corporation MX-5s of my past, and not just from a two seat roadster perspective. You really feel like you sit in rather than on the car, a common challenge for EVs, the cabin was a lovely place to be, although there was more screens than necessary in my opinion, and the ride was communicative but not jittery. Of course it was grin-inducingly fast from a point and squirt perspective, but when combined with the joy of the open top and a more sporting personna, it felt like a party trick you might find yourself using regularly, rather than just when a new passenger gets in. I've been looking forward to Porsche AG's take on the electric roadster with the promised next gen Boxster, not least as I believe the team were looking at recreating the balance of the car by putting the battery where the mid-engine is today to retain the CoG and dynamic feel. The Cyberster probably doesn't deliver to that level, but, other than the daft name (I'm used to it already), this is a fantastic effort that I think could gain real traction in the soft-top loving UK. A real awareness driver. More thoughts on the show next week, have a great weekend all. #automotive #brand #storytelling #emobility ⚡🚀🙌🏻
