Celebrating Success: A Shoutout to ASE Systems, Our Esteemed Partner! In the world of precision #materialhandling and #industrial #innovation, #partnerships are the cornerstone of success. Today, we highlight the remarkable achievements made possible through our collaboration with ASE System, a valued partner of Aerofilm Systems, who has successfully introduced Aerofilm's cutting-edge #AirCaster Load Module System to companies like D-J Engineering. ASE's recent case study showcases the transformative power of our technology at D-J Engineering, where a 23,000-lb aluminum fixture was #maneuvered with ease in a constrained space. This feat not only exemplifies the exceptional capabilities of Aerofilm's air caster technology but also the strength of our partnerships in bringing these solutions to the forefront of the industry. By enabling the precise, effortless, and omni-directional movement of heavy loads, our technology—championed by ASE System—sets new standards for operational efficiency and workplace safety. We are proud to see our air caster systems make such a significant impact, thanks to the dedication and expertise of our partners. As we share ASE System's message today, we extend our heartfelt thanks for their commitment to excellence and for being an integral part of our journey. Together, we are not just moving equipment; we're driving the future of industrial efficiency and innovation. #Partnership #AerofilmTechnology #ASESystem #AirCaster #MaterialHandling #IndustrialInnovation #FreedomtoMove
Do you have heavy equipment you need to move easily or maneuver in a tight space? Check out this case study on how ASE System's Air Caster Load Module System helped D-J Engineering easily adjust a 23,000-lb aluminum fixture in limited space. The air caster load module system enables precise positioning, side-shifting and omni directional movement of the load. With this technology one pound of force exerted by the operator will move a 1,000-lb load. #aircaster #materialhandling #industrial #warehouse 🔗 https://lnkd.in/gHqQCuAa

Government Start-up Lead | Flight Test Engineer | Engineering, Business, Marketing Strategy: Systems Engineer | Aviation Safety
Excuse the gap over the holidays--back to posting! When learning about our internal engineering processes, I quickly learned two things: 1. There are none 2. Our ‘best practices’ are the result of the school of hard knocks. It doesn’t have to be this way. Beyond my Mechanical Team, whom holds MIL-STD-810 dear, there are standards for every discipline that can guide a team towards success without “having to learn the hard way.” I’ve identified a number of standards and have held weekly training sessions for my team to teach them best practices. Many safety-related standards were already practiced (MIL-HDBK-454B Electrical Wiring Standards for Aircraft); however, electrical/component design and interfaces were always home-grown implementations that lent themselves poorly to taking advantage of COTS (Commercial off-the-shelf) implementations. Today, we have 3 designs following the latest ARINC 600 standard for our airborne equipment and using MIL-STD-1472F for Human Centric Design.

There are most of the AT-X models, from -1 to -14, that we evaluated in Aermacchi for the MB-339 replacement between 1985 and 1995. We performed many trade-offs: canard vs aft-tail, single vs. twin engine, transonic vs. supersonic optimization, different planforms and profiles, cabin layouts, systems architectures... many of these trade offs were supported by wind tunnel tests in our facilities and at Calspan. Eventually we concluded that the best configuration for an advanced trainer woul be a conventional aft tail optimized for the transonic regime, and that a twin engine configuration, albeit slightly more expensive, would have significant advantages in redundant systems architecture and therefore in flight safety, of paramount importance for a trainer. all these studies were subsequently fed into the Yak/Aem program (which was truly a 50/50 effort ia all disciplines) and eventually in the M-346 design.

There is so much hidden value in modular construction.
AirFRAME by SLD Technology. This is the power of modular construction! Get your facility on-line and generating revenue faster with higher quality. This concept has been used in the Cleanroom industry for many years but has only recently made its way into healthcare. Why would anyone even think about going with Stick-Built when you can have all the advantages of a Fully Integrated System? Decreased General Conditions Minimized Disruption Re-useable Materials Safer Construction Reduced Schedule Increased Quality Less Waste Give your clients the space that they deserve. Better performance in less time and with greater value. To find out more visit: www.sldus.com
