Excited to attend the 11th Microwave and Radar Week and the International Radar Symposium at Wrocław, Poland! I will be presenting three talks on the following topics: 𝟭) 𝗔𝗱𝗮𝗽𝘁𝗶𝘃𝗲 𝗗𝗶𝗴𝗶𝘁𝗮𝗹 𝗕𝗲𝗮𝗺𝗳𝗼𝗿𝗺𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝗳𝗼𝗿 𝗥𝗮𝗱𝗮𝗿 𝗜𝗻𝘁𝗲𝗿𝗳𝗲𝗿𝗲𝗻𝗰𝗲 𝗠𝗶𝘁𝗶𝗴𝗮𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻: Automotive radar interference is one of the biggest hurdles currently faced by the automotive industry, hindering the widescale deployment of automotive radars. In this talk, I will discuss the characterisation of radar interference in the spatial domain and the effects of mitigating interference using adaptive digital beamforming, validated by measurements. I will also highlight scenarios where adaptive beamforming is well-suited, considering the penetration of automotive radar. 𝟮) 𝗧𝗮𝗿𝗴𝗲𝘁 𝗧𝗿𝗮𝗰𝗸𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝗶𝗻 𝗠𝗮𝗿𝗶𝘁𝗶𝗺𝗲 𝗘𝗻𝘃𝗶𝗿𝗼𝗻𝗺𝗲𝗻𝘁 𝘂𝘀𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝟳𝟳 𝗚𝗛𝘇 𝗙𝗠𝗖𝗪-𝗠𝗜𝗠𝗢-𝗗𝗕𝗦 𝗜𝗺𝗮𝗴𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝗥𝗮𝗱𝗮𝗿: Accurate detection and tracking of small marine targets are crucial for the autonomy of small and medium-sized marine crafts. In this talk, I will discuss our novel signal processing strategy developed to focus, detect, and track dynamic marine targets, using an approaching hazardous wave as a target of interest. Spectrum congestion is a highly discussed topic in both radar and communication industries. In this talk, I will present Muge's work on combining radar and communication waveforms, extracting the Doppler information of moving targets, and enhancing the Doppler and azimuth resolutions of the waveform using a Burg-aided algorithm.
