#HARAWeek: Our latest Colloquium Series recording is now available! In this presentation, Tiamat Warda offers an introduction to emotional labor as a central labor process done by guide dogs and the humans who educate them. Aligning with the existing concept of humane work, Tiamat unpacks what factors can impact how humane an emotional labor practice is for a worker of either species. While referring to a specific case study, this presentation's conclusions have implications for interpersonal animal work more broadly. #HumanAnimalRelationshipAwarenessWeek #HumanAnimalStudies

We may not have the budgets, full-time capacity, and complete teams like some documentary makers out there. What we do have are the local communities we work for, some in the most remote areas of the world. The dedicated field teams, scientists, and partner NGOs we work with. Most importantly, in the fisheries we work in, the fishers depend on responsible fishing for their livelihoods. They tell us their stories and with data collected from the field, they know how to make the necessary changes for our future. You are entitled to the right information, and you should be able to have access to the right seafood; the seafood that benefits communities instead of exploiting them, and that doesn’t destroy the ocean. We need to change the narrative around seafood, as there is a road to recovery. Join us on a journey to uncover the future of seafood. Starting with tuna. Sustainable tuna fishing does exist. Happy World Fisheries Day! #Seaspiracy #Canspiracy #WorldFisheriesDay #ChangeTheNarrative #LeaveNoOneBehind #SDG14b #Fisheries #IPNLF #Tuna #Onebyone #EthicalTuna #Transparency #WorldFisheriesDay2023 #SustainableFishing #OceanOptimism

Check out this video I produced to learn about corrections and RTK.
Ditch the Drift, Boost Your Yields: Why Corrections Matter Tired of blurry lines and subpar precision? As a farmer, knowing the difference between WAAS and RTK is game-changing. WAAS is like cruise control: good for basic guidance, but can drift. RTK is your precision pilot, delivering sub-inch accuracy for laser-sharp planting, spraying, and harvesting. Here's why you should care: ⭐Maximize profits: RTK's pinpoint accuracy saves on inputs, reduces overlap, and boosts yields. ⭐Streamline operations: Auto-steer with confidence, create repeatable field maps, and optimize efficiency. ⭐Future-proof your farm: RTK integrates seamlessly with advanced tech for precision ag practices. ️ Watch Michael Fischer as he explains more and shows you the proof! https://hubs.la/Q02jTND90
