The simple answer to conflicts is "Talk" Just have a dialogue of conversation right? “When you have a conflict, that means that there are truths that have to be addressed on each side of the conflict. And when you have a conflict, then it’s an educational process to try to resolve the conflict. And to resolve that, you have to get people on both sides of the conflict involved so that they can dialogue.” – Dolores Huerta Found this quote above from a lady that understood the importance of getting both sides of the conflict together. She worked with labor unions back in the 50’s and it still true today. #conflictresolutoin #productiveconversations #dialogue #talk

Who do you vote for? Loyal Workers: These are the people who, on a daily basis, put their thoughts aside and focus their resources on obeying orders from others. Loyal Managers: Are the ones who have their heads full of ideas, which they then interpret to determine what would be best for their organisations. An obedient owner is one who recognises, knows, and understands everyone. Others: Respect their self-satisfaction 😉.

Rumors are created by haters spread by fools and accepted by idiots In the corporate sector, it's common to hear about things that aren't imminent realities. Such information is occasionally circulated by both management and other sources. This bitter truth reflects the reality of the corporate world. So, focus on your work and responsibilities for which you are compensated, without being overly concerned about these speculations. #corporate #office #human #advice

We have to stop being surprised that these people are absolutely everywhere & that we have to have systems to control and counteract them. “Negative psychology Last says she fears that the inquiry into the scandal may reveal examples of “dark leadership traits”. These can include narcissism, Machiavellianism and psychopathy. “Such traits in leadership,” she writes “could lead to a disregard for the wellbeing of sub-postmasters, manipulative strategies to maintain a certain narrative, and a lack of remorse or responsibility, echoing the downfall of other organisations led by individuals with similar traits.” Machiavellianism can be seen in the withholding of information, legal threats and attempts to mislead judges. Psychopathy is revealed in the lack of remorse and empathy over the terrible outcomes suffered by accused sub-postmasters. Narcissism can be seen in attempts to preserve an individual’s self-image or the image of the institution, which takes precedence over the truth or welfare of others. Without enhanced screening of leaders at the candidate stage, says Last, many organisations could be at risk of inviting such traits into top positions. The cultivation of a “speak-up culture” also mitigates against such negative psychological factors becoming prevalent, as does the use of metrics that elevate ethics, culture and engagement to be at least as important as finance.” Law Society of Ireland Ivana Bacik Tara Doyle John Lynch

I keep saying that to reduce harm we must move from accountability to an exploration of the human condition Why do we see seemingly intelligent people doing harmful things? Why do these leaders ignore the red flags. Why do people remain silent? These questions will never be answered if we just want a head to parade around.
