🏆 Reflecting on an Unforgettable Experience at the World Race Walking Team Championships in Muscat! 🚶♀️✨ The official days of the competition, March 4th and 5th, 2022, marked two extraordinary days that I will forever hold close to my heart. While I always envisioned volunteering in a medical capacity, my non-medical background made that seem like a distant dream. Little did I know that the world of race walking would provide me with a remarkable opportunity to be part of the medical care team. Being alongside dedicated doctors and nurses, 🤝 assisting athletes before, after, and during the races, was an indescribable experience. Leading the volunteer group for this specific role added an extra layer of fulfillment. It was truly amazing to witness the tireless efforts of the medical team in ensuring the well-being of the athletes throughout the competition. The environment, the people, every moment spent at the event was filled with kindness and warmth. The camaraderie among volunteers, doctors, and nurses created an atmosphere of unity that transcended boundaries. 🌐 What made the experience even more special was the encounter with the CEO of Oman Sail, the firm responsible for the event. His kind words and genuine appreciation for our volunteer efforts touched my heart. It's not often that you meet someone so humble and appreciative of the dedication of volunteers. It's not just an event; It is a celebration of unity, compassion and the purest form of human kindness. 🎈 Day of Fun and Happiness: Every year, we collect the most beautiful smiles of orphans, to create a day full of laughter, games and activities that they love. It's more than just an event. From June 1st to June 8th, 2018, I participated in a volunteer event called "Shadow of Families" for underprivileged families. 🤝 The goal of this campaign was to raise awareness in the community about the plight of underprivileged families, particularly those cared for by the Al-Rahma Association for Maternity and Childhood. We aimed to collect funds to assist these families and improve their living conditions. Thanks to the support and participation of many wonderful individuals, we were able to raise 25,000 Omani Rials during the campaign. 🙌💰 This achievement was not only financial but also social, as it contributed to raising awareness in the community about the importance of supporting underprivileged individuals and extending a helping hand to them.
