Is cruising for you? How do you go about arranging your first cruise? You can book your first cruise without input from anyone else, have a great time and be hooked for life. I was lucky and that worked for me. Others might book the cheapest cruise or one that includes one or two ports they have a passing interest in visiting, without considering other important factors, e.g. ship size, facilities, stateroom type/location, etc. and come away feeling like this was their worst trip ever and never cruise again. These three ships sailed out of Port Canaveral, whilst I was there on a recent trip. If you listen carefully, you can hear the sailaway activity taking place. This could be the start of your decision to take that first cruise. If these interest you, speak to people, take advice, find and book with an experienced agent, if that works for you, whatever it takes to fit the cruise to your own personality. Even after that, cruising may not be for some. For others, it'll open up endless possibilities.
