I elaborated on the topic and wrote an article https://lnkd.in/e_ePZmkN I put there my reasoning and observations to make the point more clear
Frontend vs Backend We are accustomed to the concept of distinct Backend and Frontend developer roles. I'm getting increasingly convinced that this segregation often harms both parties - companies and developers. It undermines velocity, resources flexibility, developers' growth and satisfaction. Reflecting on my past experience, I'd have preferred working in a more homogeneous environment of generalists where everyone shares similar skills and can handle the same tasks. What are your thoughts on that? #teamcollaboration #teamculture #frontenddeveloper #backenddeveloper
