After a nearly flat Q2 for global M&A activity, we're starting to see more strategic acquisition headlines round out Q3. Mastercard is acquiring Recorded Future for ~9x revenue, a slight discount to other cybersecurity multiples in the 10-14x range. I think we'll see a flurry of strategic activity in Q4/FY25Q1 as healthy corporate balance sheets take advantage of tempered private company valuations keen on an exit as investors look to free up liquidity for the next stage of the credit cycle. https://lnkd.in/e82GvQmw
