The most difficult warehouses to work in are those without an SOP. Within the same organization you find things being done differently and since there's no operating procedures they get away with it because no one cares where the cost of an error will go to. Warehouse professionals have got to be effective in reducing operational cost since we're all aiming for profitability in the business.

As the Warehouse Manager, I dedicated my efforts to ensuring efficient operations and strong communication throughout the day. I meticulously packaged and shipped orders based on Zheng's email requests, maintaining clear lines of communication regarding inventory levels. Returned items were carefully organized, and I collaborated with Clyde to find a temporary solution for inventory management of computers. Despite initial concerns over Clyde's method of separating items, open dialogue led to a workable approach of returning products to their original locations. I successfully fulfilled all new orders, maintained transparency with Zheng about stock, and efficiently handled returns. Looking ahead, I plan to continue monitoring inventory, organizing products for Clyde, and keeping him informed upon completion. My day exemplified my ability to multitask, problem-solve, and foster effective teamwork.

Today, a look from our operation. We love a beautiful warehouse where warehouse workers quickly feel comfortable. Where everyone knows the location quickly and will make fewer mistakes as a result. Nathalie is responsible for purchasing and stock management. She is currently improving locations and adjusting volumes according to sales. We work with a small warehouse where everything is packed quickly. These bins also have a second location for when the bin is empty. They reduce walking distances and time to pack. In our sector, it is very important to be fast and correct. Because of this, we are forced to count every parcel twice. This second counting removes a huge number of errors from our deliveries.
