👨💼 Recruiter: Hey Mr. Client, just found out that the candidate that we send across for "Finance Director" 4 months ago just on board with you yesterday? 👹 Client: Yes, but that candidate was not hire as "Finance Director" we hire him as "Deputy Finance Director" instead. Because the candidate isn't qualified for Director level yet. I know you want to pursue recruitment fee but you can't because the role is not what you originally present the candidate to. 👨💼 Recruiter: So are you still looking for Finance Director? 👹 Client: No. But that doesn't matter because it's a different role and your company doesn't add any value in this placement. You basically just introduce the profile. 👨💼 Recruiter: It does matter. It is basically the same role! And how can we add value to you when you directly approached the candidate and kept it a secret from us. For all I know, you probably ask the candidate to kept it between you too! 👹 Client: I have vast network and our HQ have many portfolios of businesses. If you pursue this fee, I will make sure that your company will get blacklist from all our umbrella companies. If you want to pursue this fee you should charge the candidate because the candidate benefit most from this! 👨💼 Recruiter: (no words) They are many grey areas or loop holes recruitment practice in Thailand. Does presenting the candidate for one exact position means we cant represent the candidate when the client just change the position title?
