Wanted to share this article as it hits home for the technology industry as this applies to both the vendor landscape and the IT profession in itself. Within 2024, companies must focus on creating human capital plans to recruit younger generations for the technology industry to sustain. Cross-training younger generations across various technology domains is super important as well. This new environment demands a workforce with a diversity of skills. However, experts say the telco talent pool is alarmingly drying up in an industry that is expected to hit $2.47 trillion by 2028. "The telecom industry is at the heart of a digital transformation," said Anand Swaminathan, EVP and global head of communications, media, and technology for Infosys.
