Job Evaluation for Strategic Growth in Education I want to share insights from a recent project our team successfully delivered! We partnered with a high school educational institution to conduct a job evaluation assignment aimed at optimizing their organizational structure and aligning roles with strategic goals. What We Did: Evaluated 13 positions: 2 existing and 11 newly introduced. Conducted in-depth interviews with line managers to capture role-specific nuances. Scored each position against defined factors, ensuring fairness and strategic alignment. Integrated our grading with the institution's current grading scheme for seamless adoption. Key Outcome: Both existing positions were downgraded, reflecting shifts in responsibilities and current organizational priorities. Value Addition for the Client: Future-Ready Structure: Introducing 11 new, strategically defined roles ensures the institution is equipped to meet evolving educational needs effectively. Time Efficiency: A streamlined, well-defined grading system reduced time spent on internal role-related ambiguities and decision-making. Monetary Savings: By realigning the grades of the existing positions, the institution can achieve significant savings in salary expenditures without compromising operational efficiency. This project was a great reminder of how targeted interventions can drive sustainability and growth in both financial and operational terms.
