Fresh flowers are a beautiful way to brighten up a space in your home. Here are a few tips to keep cut flowers fresh longer: 🌼Start with a clean vase. Use diluted bleach and give your vase a good scrub to get rid of any bacteria before you add your arrangement. 🌸Add flower food. If you don’t have any on hand, you can provide nutrients by mixing 2 tbs lemon juice, 1 tbs sugar, and ½ tsp bleach into your vase water. 🌼Snip stems and remove leaves. Cut stems at a 45-degree angle and remove any leaves that will be submerged. This prevents bacterial growth and aids water and nutrient absorption. 🌸Replace water and recut stems. Trim stems every 3-5 days and add fresh water daily to keep the vase clean and flowers hydrated. 🌼Avoid heat and direct sunlight. Watch for overexposure, which can dry out flowers prematurely. A tip you may want to know when using our pear flower powder. Pollen is living and cannot be stored at room temperature. If you use it in three days, put it in the fridge. Some flowers bloom early on the sunny side of the mountain, while others bloom late on the shady side. If you're using the pollen for more than a week, put it in the freezer to -18 ℃. Take it out 12 hours before use, leave it at room temperature to wake it up, and it'll be ready to use. This helps the pollen germinate quickly, forming the best fruit. Last month I wrote about why you shouldn't put used coffee grounds down your kitchen sink and suggested a few alternative uses for them. The fact is used coffee grounds have many practical uses. They can be used as a natural alternative to harsh chemical dyes, a repellent for insects and pests, a tenderizer for meat, an exfoliating scrub for your skin, and even as a compost for your garden. Coffee grounds are versatile and eco-friendly, making them a great addition to your daily routine. The following article has a list of sixteen different ways you can use those wet grounds. And when you're done trying them, why not make a fresh pot and start all over again? How do you like your coffee? https://brev.is/KKR49 #CoffeeGrounds #NaturalDyes #InsectRepellent #EcoFriendly #GardenCompost #ExfoliatingScrub #HowDoYouLikeYourCoffee #CoffeeLover #UsedGrounds
