We designed Fellowes Array to complement HVAC systems. The range of air purifiers, sensors and monitoring software can be connected to form a complete network in any room, and is easily retrofitted into existing buildings without ductwork connections. https://bit.ly/4aEbZvT

AFMS (Air Flow Monitoring Station) I like what Ebtron is doing with their thermal dispersion tubes. The fact that they can be calibrated in the field for specific field conditions is huge. Its not often that you have a straight piece of duct that provides the most ideal location for placing the sensors.

In this project, we are investigating the functionality of the subfloor ventilation. It would not be clear unless we could measure the conditions. The task is made even more convenient by the fact that we can inexpensively measure different points using sensors from the VILPE Sense system. If you don't measure, you can't know what's happening. One of the most important benefits of sensor monitoring is the ability to detect anomalies in the measured structure. This allows us to create alerts for changed conditions and plan corrective actions. Overall, it's refreshing to get into the crawl space and verify the results provided by the sensors. #VILPESense

💡 Smart compressors make smart decisions. Take high discharge temperature as an example. This dashboard shows the possible causes in red, actions in purple, and then depending on the conditions measured from the actions, three decisions are made. These vary from 'engage variable operation and speed' to perhaps a complete stop. At the recent iVT Expo in Cologne in Germany we highlighted the important outcomes from a compressor that can intelligently monitor and control its own speed within the cooling envelope of a system. The end result? ZERO failure from breakdown. Read more: https://lnkd.in/gmMUMGvr #efficiency #systemdesign #hvacr #coolingsystems #costreduction #compressors #electricvehicles

Things are heating up in Atlanta! The time is right to talk about Direct Air Cooling (#DAC) for tower sites before the summer. Stop by booths 230/232 at #ConnectX24 to see our patented NextGen combined DAC & HVAC controller. This part of the thermal ecosystem regulates both DAC units and HVAC cooling/heating units by means of an evolved site control logic. The controller is accessible via Wi-Fi from any mobile device and features user-friendly graphic interfaces. It can also be part of an SNMP remote monitoring system. By leveraging ambient air temperature, the controller will selectively inhibit the use of the HVAC(s), effectively reducing electric usage, improving overall thermal efficiency at the site, extending the life of the HVAC. Not going to Connect X? Join our next webinar to learn more about Direct Air Cooling: https://bit.ly/3WblMo2

Below is a model image of an online monitoring turbidity sensor, PipeTalk, integrated into a smart water meter. This device was developed using THE WAVE TALK's exceptional technology. It is attached to a pipe connected to a smart water meter and can wirelessly transmit data via Wi-Fi. The turbidity sensors associated with this device require little to no maintenance and enable real-time water quality monitoring through the use of smart meters.. #SmartWaterMetering #WaterMetering #Metering #IntelligentWaterMeasurement #WaterMeasurement #Measurement

Communicating systems exist in residential and commercial HVAC, and the definition boils down to systems that have controls that are a little more advanced than traditional 24v AC controls. Communicating systems include VRF/VRV systems and inverter-driven equipment that relies on DC signals from sensors, including transducers, to adjust the operation. Some ductless mini-splits fall into this category.

According to Guideline 42, outdoor air rates should be verified every two years, and it recommends annual calibration and validation of outdoor air sensors and controls. Unlike #airflow #sensors that use pressure transducers that drift and require calibration, EBTRON thermal dispersion airflow sensors provide long-term stability and repeatability, and require no calibration! #EBTRON validates outdoor air delivery rates for years of service! #AirflowMeasurement
