CITO (Chief IT Officer), from own view, I find that IT executives are not given the right titles due to the fact that most organizations depend on HR consultants who are not well equipped with IT roles and responsibilities. They just use the old data references they have despite the huge changes in the world that business today is driven by technology. I add to the artical that not only CIO(Chief Information Officer) and CTO(Chief Technology Officer) but also CISO(Chief Information Security Officer) where the top level of IT management does all three and more roles but yet HR consultant use CIO to represent the highest IT representitives which does not fit the roles and responsibilities of IT executives. And with todays advanced technology a Cheif Advanced IT Officer will need to be considered.
