You can't have bad credit and you cannot have outstanding debt. If you do FEMA will not hire you. I know because that's why I got rejected .
The biggest issue with Working with FEMA -they rely on hiring big Federal contractors tracking firms - Fluor , IEM, Aptim… And you have to adhere to all their rules , staff resource needs and per FEMa region. . Also in my business FEMA reps don’t help the applicant ( public agency ( City , county , utility ,,: PNP , or tribal ): FEMA hires and trains staff and contractors to “NO “.
Hire Me. Will definitely make difference.
Ive applied so many times and have never made it past the ,”you are eligible for this position phase “
I did get clarification: FEMA = debt means federal debt only. Back taxes, a student loan that defaulted, not personal debt. You can still owe money on an old electric bill, cell phone bill, that's okay. Just can't have federal debt.
I'm interested
how to apply please
What's the trick to getting a call back? And whats the time frame between application and a call back? I'm applying to multiple adds for y'all on usajobs but so far nothing and I'm definitely qualified.
I'm interested and have applied several times only to be told: "There are other applicants who, by law, must be considered before your application, such as displaced federal employees, certain Veterans, and others entitled to special consideration." Not sure how exactly to apply and get a position over this!
