Join us live in conversation with Alisa Marie Beyer, CEO of Maternal Care Institute, as we dive into their latest report on the doula landscape. Doulas play a significant role in women's health by providing emotional, physical, and informational support during pregnancy, childbirth, and the postpartum period. Doulas are increasingly being recognized as valuable, evidence-based members of the birth care team, with the doula market estimated to reach $25.71 billion by 2033. In this session, hosted by Dr. Brittany Baretto, CEO of FemHealth Insights, we dive into an insightful conversation on the latest report by the team at Maternal Care Institute that has analyzed over 1,000 women before and after birth and is the first report focused on the doula landscape. About the speaker: Alisa Marie Beyer is the CEO of the Maternal Care Institute and also works as a practicing birth doula primarily for U.S. military families in San Diego. She is a three-time mama and the author of a global childbirth education program through her company, Mindful Mama Childbirth. Bridging the worlds of birth and business, Alisa has led consumer research and strategy for more than 200 client companies worldwide and was also the Founder of The Benchmarking Co., one of the top health and wellness consumer product testing firms in the U.S, with America's #1 beauty & personal care consumer panels. She is incredibly passionate about childbirth, helping moms-to-be, and supporting the businesses that serve them.
