Fendt 700 Vario Gen3 revolution🌱
Let's continue our look into the past of the Fendt 700 Vario series on the occasion of our 100,000th Fendt 700 Vario celebrations.
2006 marked the start of the third generation of the Fendt 700 Vario with the introduction the new model of the 718 Vario. This new series significantly increased the performance of the basic vehicle and offered a power range of 130 to 180 hp.
Another highlight for the third generation of the series were Cargo front loaders harmonised for the 700 Vario design and technology to increase safety, manoeuvrability and productivity with the tractor.

Jason Premo here is an example of when men were machinist and machines were men.
It still amazes me the jaw-dropping mechanical achievements that were made the old fashioned way. The P51 Mustang is another example of on the hoof design and manufacturing. There are so many amazing examples.
I think even more impressive to some extent are the special lathes, mills, grinders and so forth that had to be designed to build some of the parts. Or machines that had to be built to build other machines to build the parts needed.
Here we are with amazing advancements but there will never be another $35,000 Le Mans entrant. Not even a million. Not even $10 million. The minimum cost is $150 million to "play". On average it costs $250 million to be a serious contender.
And yes there is zero comparison between the cars of old and cars of today other than they have a driver, four wheels and a steering wheel.
My point is that exponential gains in technology shouldn't always be reflected in exponential cost. There will never be another time that allowed the likes of James Garner, Carroll Shelby, Masten Gregory, Dan Gurney, AJ Foyt, Hurley Haywood to even attempt a win at Le Mans.

🚗 Superior Clutch Disc Performance and Advantages 🚛
We have developed over 700 models of clutch disc assemblies, with diameters ranging from 160mm to 440mm, suitable for a wide variety of vehicles. Our product line covers passenger cars, commercial vehicles, tractors, trucks, and buses. Notable auto brands included in our range are Volvo, Benz, Scania, MAN, HOWO, Renault, FIAT, Skoda, Iveco, Hyundai, Daewoo, Mitsubishi, Hino, and Isuzu.
Our clutch discs have been rigorously tested according to the Automobile Dry Clutch Disc Testing Standard, yielding impressive results:
Overspeed Test: 🏎️ Our clutch discs were accelerated to 8000 RPM at 250°C and maintained this speed for 5 minutes without any cracks or damage.
Fatigue Test: 💪 After 3.5 million cycles, the clutch plates retained a maximum torque of at least 75% of the initial value, with the friction damp torque remaining no less than 60% of the initial value.
Temperature Increase Test: 🌡️ When the clutch plate was started 10 times consecutively, the average temperature increase was less than 10°C.
Dynamic Friction Torque Test: 🔧 The clutch discs demonstrated a unit dynamic friction torque of no less than 0.3 Nm/cm² at 250°C, maintaining at least 70% of the torque value at room temperature after mating with the work surface and reaching 1500 RPM.
Friction Facing Wear Rate Test: ⏱️ After running the clutch plate 10,000 times at 1500 RPM with over 80% contact surface, the wear rate of the friction surface was less than 0.65mm, with no cracks, bubbles, or exposed rivets.
Conclusion
Our extensive range of clutch disc assemblies demonstrates superior performance and durability across various stringent tests, ensuring reliability and excellence for a wide array of vehicle applications. Choose our products for unmatched quality and performance. 🌟
