Have you got what it takes to become a Practitioner of NLP? I am often asked this questions so here are four pre-requisites that are necessary, so try these on for size. No 1. Are you curious? Are you curious about yourself and others? Are you curious about curiosity itself? Are you curious about behaviour? If your answer is yes, then tick! No 2. Have you got more to offer? Do you know that deep inside you, there’s more. There’s more potential waiting to be tapped into. You may not be able to put words to it, it may be just a feeling, you know its there and right now, that’s all that matters. If your answer is yes, then tick! No 3. Have you got an open mind? Have you got the capacity to take on new learning, knowledge and skills that will make an instant impact in work and at home? If your answer is yes, then tick! No. 4 Are you willing to invest time and energy in yourself? In other words to carve out some time for yourself. This is about putting yourself to the front, putting yourself first. It may be for the first time in a while and that’s totally fine. Sure, there is an investment of cost, in this case your time and energy are much more valuable. If your answer is yes, then tick! We're at the start of the 2nd full week of January 2025 and I found myself wondering how folks were getting on with their new years resolutions, if they set any that is. That thought made me feel heavy inside, not light and excited, so I switched my thinking and wondered ..... What if, today we all acted as if it were impossible to fail? What would we achieve and more importantly, how would we go about our day? How would we 'be', from moment to moment? That question made me feel lighter, full of hope and energy! I wonder how it makes you feel? How will you 'be' different as a result of answering that question for yourself? You might like to share below. For me, it's impossible to fail as I find it fun, enjoyable and expanding, working with people who want to increase their awareness, their ability to notice what they notice, expand their resilience and deepen their knowledge and skills. It's so rewarding to experience participants and clients applying all of their learnings in their professional and personal lives, it brings a great 'fizz' to my life!
