Our CEO and MD, Pius Muchiri, once said, "All it takes is someone to give you a chance, even when you may not deserve it." These words perfectly capture how my journey began; with a chance. Fresh out of college, inexperienced and uncertain, I wondered if anyone would see value in me. That’s when Ukristo na Ufanisi Sacco Ltd. came into my life; giving me my first step into the professional world and laying the foundation for who I am today. I started as a Customer Care and Marketing Intern, nervous and full of doubt. But one person believed in me: Peter Ndungu. He saw potential in an unsure young girl and guided me with patience, teaching me not just the technicalities of work but also the art of connecting with people. It was at Ukristo na Ufanisi Sacco that I learned to work with all kinds of customers, from the kind to the critical; developing resilience, empathy, and communication skills. Each interaction was a lesson in listening, problem-solving, and professionalism. My experience here taught me that every task, however small, contributes to a greater purpose. To Peter Ndungu, thank you for believing in me. To Ukristo na Ufanisi Sacco, thank you for being the foundation of my career.
