Just when you thought the tech world couldn't get any more exciting, our JARVEX Team is proud to announce the launch of #AIVory the world's first AI-controlled software engineering company! TLDR: We've harnessed the power of some magic AI stuff to create a groundbreaking system! Picture this – multi-layered LLMs (Large Language Models) taking instructions from specially trained staff, weaving architectural wonders, and churning out deployment-ready code in mere hours instead of weeks. We used to this inhouse for a while and now converted it to an externally available product. What does this mean for the future? A fundamental shift in the role of human developers as we embark on this groundbreaking journey. The game-changing combination of human expertise and AI ingenuity is rewriting the rules of software development as we know it. And I’m certain many will follow our idea and concept in the months to come. Our first large-scale projects are already in motion, and we can't wait to share the incredible transformations with you! Stay tuned for updates as we continue to shape the future of software engineering. Exciting times lie ahead, and we invite you to join us on this extraordinary adventure! Like, share, and comment to be part of the conversation – the future of tech is here, and it's called AIVory! 🚀🔗 #AIRevolution #AIVory #TechInnovation #SoftwareEngineering #FutureTech If you made it so far reading you might as well check out AIVory.de 😎

There are tons of of good ideas floating around and few that are reliable, scalable, and cybersecure. I think GenAI can probably help with technical debt, which means we might have more time for security in terms of software engineering. Of course, it's also possible that GenAI will introduce technical debt, or make obvious mistakes like flipping a digit from positive to negative and wreak havoc, but that's what I want to find out. So I wanted to start in an unsafe but relatively known place, which means building a simple guestbook application that I can use to see if GenAI can help fix and secure it and make it better overall. 🚀 What's the best way to kick off the weekend of Easter 🐣 if not with a captivating video showcasing the ranking movements of LLMs over the last 12 months? 😆 It's noteworthy that #GPT4 held the 1st position for the majority of the time, only to be recently overtaken by #Claude3Opus for the first time a few weeks ago. 🥇🔁 Kudos to #MistralMedium, the first #OpenSource model to make it into the rankings! 👏🎉 #GenerativeAI #Innovation #Technology

AI is such a multi-faceted concept and issue across all industries. Regardless of your technical aptitude, it will come to affect you in some way. Call it the nerd in me, but I can't just sit with seeing AI portrayed as just "white" or just "black" magic in the tech domain. 🔮 ✨ That's why I started my blog redmage.cc earlier this month to speak on all kinds of topics regarding the AI space, and bring to light different perspectives of risks, challenges, and applications from a tech-lite approach. You don't have to be an engineer to be informed and have a voice when it comes to AI. Today, I published an article on AI and its effects on the environment after some inspiration from Matt Williams earlier this week. There's a good deal of effort put around the compute and progress AI can bring, but are we potentially incurring undue consequences as a result? 🍃 https://lnkd.in/gWdpzZb3 Please subscribe to my blog if you find the conversation insightful! Topic suggestions are also welcome, and I'd love to connect over some of these discussion points if people are interested. Thank you all!

There are some Impressive stats on Generative AI which are as follows: McKinsey & Company estimates a potential annual value creation of $2.6 to 4.4 trillion. According to a Gartner pulse survey, 22.6% of this value will come from productivity gains. Matt Turck's 2024 MAD framework lists 2,011 vendors, a 42% increase from 2023, indicating high innovation but also making it challenging to navigate the options. CB Insights reports a $21.8 billion investment in GenAI startups in 2023, a fivefold increase over 2022. Stanford University's AI Index states that $191 million was allocated to train Google Gemini Ultra. Constellation Research's survey reveals that 14% of companies have deployed GenAI for analytics. According to an AWS survey, 6% of Chief Data Officers (CDOs) had deployed GenAI by summer 2023. A projected 6% increase in electricity consumption by data centers by 2030, primarily driven by GenAI. The U.S. Department of Homeland Security's AI Safety Council consists of 9 members from tech companies and 2 AI researchers, showcasing the need for more diverse representation.
