This is a very common question asked by the students every time that which degree we should pursue between Masters & B.ed.. So, here I'm trying to differentiate these two in simple words.. The choice between pursuing a Bachelor of Education (B.Ed) or a Master of Arts (MA) depends on your interest, career goals and the field you want to work in. 1️⃣ B.Ed is pursued by individuals who want to become teachers or educators. So, If your goal is to become a teacher or work in the field of education, a B.Ed is a more direct route to fulfilling that career goal. eg. PRT, TGT, PGT, KVS, DSSSB etc for these posts you have to pursue B.ed (mandatory). 2️⃣ MA is a postgraduate degree that is usually more specialized and research-oriented than a B.Ed. If you are interested in pursuing a career in a specific academic field like MA in Political Science (specific subject) research or academia then you should opt for a Masters degree.. eg. What is special about IIT faculties? You might have seen a priority statement in the recent faculty hiring posts. "IITians and NITians are preferred". I have seen many posts on this stating that IIT faculties are not the only talented faculties but there are good faculties from other institutes also. Yes, I agree that. IITians are not the top-notch faculties available in the market. Having extensive subject matter knowledge is not enough to be a good faculty. You must have good communication skills as well as a passion towards teaching. Apart from that I personally believe a good faculty should always remain committed to his students with utmost sincerity. There are good faculties from other institutes that have all these qualities. But why the companies are being choosy? The issue begins with parents. In recent days few parents came for admission and they were asking about the qualifications and the institute from which the faculty has qualified. They are happy to take admission if you have in-house IIT faculties. For any educational firm, student admissions is the first priority. So it is a natural cause that they will tend to hire IIT faculties. Other than that there is nothing special about IIT faculties if they don't have the qualities. Very informative and detailed analysis of placement of IIT and other engineering graduates . Zest is that, students in last 5 years were getting good placement in IT industry,Banking and marketing which was non-core and not related to their area of studies . Tough time ahead but as suggested 6 months minor degree in upcoming area will be helpful to placement is good initiative and need to be implemented in HM degree also .

Everything seems impossible until it's done!! It all began with an unexpected turn towards academia. Never in my plans did I imagine joining the Punjab Higher Education Department (HED) through Punjab Public Service Commission (PPSC). Yet, by the grace of Allah Almighty, I secured the top merit position in Rawalpindi division and 4th position overall in Punjab in the Lecturer Chemistry exams! I was appointed when my Mphil research work was about to begin, at Government Associate College for Women, Kahuta, a location 48 km away from my home, with QAU even farther. The long commute, coupled with the demands of my research on a novel supercapacitor material, meant working 12-hour days and weekends a few times, while traveling straight from the College to the Chemistry Department. The challenges were big like getting constant setbacks in my research, the need to redo my work almost twice, discouragement along the way, and a lack of resources. But with every obstacle, my determination grew stronger. I knew this dream, this degree, was worth fighting for. And now, here I stand, as a post-graduate of QAU! This journey has tested my limits, but it has also taught me the true meaning of resilience and the power of unwavering faith. At this point, I want to thank my supervisor Dr. Faroha Liaquat, principal of GACW, Kahuta, Miss Rizwana Ayub for their support and my students that they didn't let me down. 3 years of insanity and intellectualsim on a piece of paper. 🪐📑👩🎓🪄 Zakir Husain Delhi College at Delhi University was never the first college I wanted to go. And probably not even wanted to pursue a Bachelor’s Of Arts. I wanted something more. Something big. Something that would pay back OR simply pay. Like most students coming out of high school, I had a seemingly perfect plan for a seemingly perfect life. But then life as happened as it does. And I took admission to study Political Science Major. Now that I find hold my degree not just in my hands, but also very close to my heart, I realise that I might have known what I wanted but certainly not what I needed. Alhamdulillah. Studying Political Science was a redirection, a process of unlearning and relearning. Something that never made me settle and kept me questioning WHY of everything. 🔎📚📖 And that’s it. That’s when I knew I was made to be here. With the two friends I was so grateful to find here, the journey was nothing but a box of memories and unboxing my own self. 📦🗝️ So if you are a college student reading this, trust me, your college or your degree isn’t bad as you think. In fact, it’s the moment you will be looking back at very often for the rest of your life. In every job application or applying at top universities, the initial stage application always asks the detailed information about your academic performance. In college, never take academics lightly, do other activities and all but if those activities are affecting your college Studies badly, then please focus on your college academics.
