In movies, explosions are often depicted with a dramatic flair: a burst in one corner sends shockwaves rippling outward, enveloping everything in a cinematic haze. While this makes for great visual spectacle in HD, real-life explosions don't quite match this glamorous portrayal. What I am sure of, however, is the fact that this is the ideal manner in which any issue concerning Customer Experience ought to travel within the organisation. All issues small/big, impact/non-impactful, take them head-on. Go full guns blazing - explode at the top - factfinding among teams, let the impact be felt across the organisation. Alas, the time to recover will be, like a Hiroshima catastrophe, is creating an impactful, realistic and workable strategy that can rapidly executed. And then what? Cycle continues, doesn’t it?
