Not everyone can build custom websites. Not everyone can hire an in-house marketing team. But if you are outsourcing, outsource to the right people. I was scrolling through a new website sent to me by a very proud property owner - he was proud of how good a deal he got and 'you would never know'. It had been built by a company that specializes in real estate websites; you choose a preset template and they churn them out en masse. The worst of many glaring issues were orphan pages - pages that are not linked to from anywhere else on the website so that not the user, nor Google, will find the page. The property's staff, knowing the area, had spent hours putting together information that speaks specifically to their region, but because it wasn't part of the preset template, it was thrown up and forgotten about when the main menu was added. Outsourcing can be a good thing, but with oversight and the right vendors. (If you need a good recommendation of a marketing-related vendor, hit me up.)
100%. To add to this Fay Friedman, I've found that often it's failing when you do something cheap that boosts your confidence in investing more for better results.
Oh my 😬 I always say if something sounds too good to be true, it usually is. There's a reason why some specialists take longer and charge more...!
Fay Friedman, definitely can relate to this challenge. Any tips for seeking out the correct marketing agency?
Absolutely, Fay! Quality over quantity always pays off, especially in web development and marketing. Tailored solutions make all the difference! How do you usually identify the 'right' vendor?
This!!!!
Choosing the right outsourcing partners is crucial for success. 🤝
Then they spend thousands to a broken website - "but it was cheap"
Outsourcing can be a game-changer, but choosing the right vendors is crucial. 🙌
